Year R class

 Welcome to our class page!

Welcome to our Reception class page. I will upload weekly learning tasks for you to do at home. There will be a combination of Maths, Phonics and Literacy activities as well as more creative topic based ideas that you could do. Do as much as you can but do not worry if you can not complete it all! It would be fantastic to see what you have been doing at home, so feel free to send some key moments/achievements to me via email or upload them onto EvidenceMe! If you would like to show your friends what you have been doing then please send me your photos/videos by 3pm on Friday. Your grown ups can e-mail me at

Additional ideas.

  • Monster milkshake cafe. This document focuses on using language associated with capacity. Why not create your own milkshake cafe and make some different milkshakes?
  • African drumming and dancing. Take a look at this video, watch it several times, can you copy some of the movements and create your own dance sequence?
  • Why not travel to different places with Barnaby Bear? You could pack your suit case, make plane tickets and passports, create a plane and take off with Barnaby (choose one of your own teddies). Click here to see where you would like to go!

I hope you all have a lovely week! Stay happy and stay safe! If you have any questions or would like to show me what you have been doing then please email me, using the address above.
