We have come to the end of term for this academic year and would like to thank all our parents for their co-operation and support during such a difficult time. We have been really pleased to have been able to welcome most of our pupils back to school before the end of term. We are now preparing for the full return of all pupils from the start of September.
The school will reopen fully on Monday 7 September and will be open Monday to Friday. This is applicable to all pupils in all years, and any previous arrangements to limit school places during the coronavirus pandemic will no longer be in effect.
Early Years arrangements have been shared with parents directly by Mrs Scott. A staggered start to the new academic year (for Reception aged pupils) will be in place, over a two week period, to enable a smooth transition to school.
Arrangements for September have been shared with our school community and are set out, below, in more detail. We look forward to seeing you in the new academic year and wish you all a safe and relaxing summer holiday.
- Letter to parents – Sept 2020 full opening
- September arrangements table of timings
- September school day with staggers
- COVID Risk Assessment for Sept 2020
We wish all our Year 6 pupils every success as they move on to High School in September. Please find below the link to Acle Academy’s ‘Transition Video Welcome’ for Year 6 parents and pupils
At Acle St Edmund C of E Primary school, we aim to create an exciting, challenging and caring learning environment in which pupils become successful and confident learners. We provide pupils with many opportunities to develop their full potential, both as individuals and as active, caring citizens within a rapidly changing world. These aspirations are summed up in our school motto: “Learn more, think more, be more” and underpinned by the Christian values we share as a community.
We work closely with parents and carers to provide the best possible education for our pupils, and hope that this website gives you the information you need to know. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for improving and developing the site.
We welcome visits to our school and look forward to sharing our learning community with you.
